James Cameron’s’ Avatar ‘franchise has set new benchmarks in the world of cinema. The first film ‘Avatar’ in 2009 laid the foundation of this franchise, and in 2022, its sequel ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ came. Both these films took the cinematic experience and box office records to new heights. Now the third part of this series, ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’, is scheduled to be released on 19 December 2025, and it is on track to become the biggest film of 2025.
In a recent interview with Empire magazine, James Cameron revealed some interesting details about Avatar 3. “Originally, there were no plans to make ‘Avatar 3’. Initially, it was his idea to make three films after ‘Avatar’, but with the development of the story, the plan changed. One of the plot points of ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ became so big that it had to be turned into a separate film.
“We packed a lot of interesting ideas into the second film, but the film was running like a bullet train. We weren’t able to focus enough on the characters. Then I told the writers to distribute it. “That’s why ‘Avatar 3’ will be an even longer film. ‘Avatar 2 ‘had a runtime of 3 hours and 12 minutes, and’ Avatar 3 ‘will be longer than that.
James Cameron also said that special attention has been paid to the development of the characters in ‘Avatar 3’. “We have created some great set-pieces. Your blood will boil. As an artist who is now 70 years old, it excites me to have the opportunity to do all that again. This time we have reached the level of characters like never before. ”
“The release date of” “Avatar 3” “was initially set for December 20, 2024, but was later pushed back to December 19, 2025,” Cameron said that the film has twice as many shots finished as the other film, which is going to make it even more spectacular.
“If you’re not taking bold steps, you’re wasting everyone’s time and money,” Cameron told the audience. It is not enough to achieve success; it is important that you keep doing something different every time. “
Now it has to be seen how much ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash impresses the audience and whether it takes the franchise to new heights once again.
